Aircon M8 is dual trade (Electrical + Air Conditioning) — so one qualified person can handle both in the same visit. You deal directly with the owner from first call to completion. We explain your options and confirm pricing before any work starts.

 

Our pricing structure (inc GST)

 

Call-Out Fee

Call-Out Fee $149 inc GST — travel included + first 30 mins on-site (inspect, diagnose, quote).
After 30 mins: $35 per 15 mins (inc GST).
Any travel surcharge (outside our standard area) is confirmed upfront before booking.

 

Standard conditions (fixed-price items):

  • Like-for-like replacement

  • Safe, reasonable access

  • Existing wiring/mounting is serviceable
    If anything is unusual, we’ll advise before proceeding.

 

Electrical — Small Works (Call-Out applies)

 

The $149 Call-Out is charged once per visit. Prices below are per item completed during the same visit.
Note: Some services are fixed-price packages (visit included) — see Ceiling Fans and Air Conditioning Services below.

Standard fittings included: Clipsal Classic / C2000 equivalent (white). Prefer Clipsal Iconic? Available by request prior to booking (price confirmed upfront).

 

Switches & Power Points (Fixed Price)

 

  • 1 Gang switch replacement: $58 each

  • 2 Gang switch replacement: $71 each

  • Single power point replacement: $70 each

  • Double power point replacement: $80 each

  • Double power point + USB: $145 each

  • Weatherproof double power point replacement: $175 each

 

Lighting (Fixed Price)

 

  • LED downlight replacement (like-for-like) : $75 each

  • LED downlight upgrade: $95 each

  • Slim LED batten 600mm: $145 each

  • Slim LED batten 1200mm: $155 each

  • LED oyster light 300–400mm: $180 each

 

Exhaust Fans — Ceiling Mount (Fixed Price)

 

  • 200mm Clipsal exhaust fan replacement: $146 inc GST

  • 250mm Clipsal exhaust fan replacement: $160 inc GST

 

Smoke Alarms

 

  • Hardwired smoke alarm replacement (like-for-like): $185 each 

  • Additional alarm / interconnected upgrades: quoted upfront

Ceiling Fans (Fixed Price — Visit Included)

Ceiling fan pricing is a fixed package and includes the standard visit (no additional $149 call-out is added). We confirm final price before booking based on model/size and access.

 

Customer-supplied fan

  • AC fan swap (customer supplied): $248 inc GST

  • DC fan swap (customer supplied): $280 inc GST  (includes remote/receiver setup & commissioning)

Standard ceiling height/access assumed. High ceilings, difficult access, new bracing, or wiring repairs are quoted if required.

 

Aircon M8 supplied

  • AC “Coolum” fan supplied & installed: from $449 inc GST

  • AC “Coolum” fan + light supplied & installed: from $499 inc GST

  • DC “Sanur” fan supplied & installed: from $529 inc GST

  • DC “Sanur” fan + light supplied & installed: from $579 inc GST

Includes standard visit, installation, testing and compliance (standard conditions). We confirm the final price before booking based on model/size and access.

Ceiling fan replacement (customer supplied): $248 (visit included)

  • 1 x 1-gang light switch replacement: $58
    Total: $306 inc GST
    No Call-Out Fee is added because the ceiling fan replacement price includes the visit. Extra items completed on the same visit are charged at the per-item rates above.

 

Example 2 — Inspection/quote visit + small fix:
Call-Out Fee $149 (travel + first 30 mins)

  • 1 x 1-gang light switch $58
    Total: $207 inc GST
    (If it runs over 30 mins: $35 per 15 mins.)

Air Conditioning

 

Split System Air Conditioning Services

(Fixed Price – Visit Included)

Express Split System Service (30–45 mins) — $179

Best for routine maintenance to keep performance up and prevent build-up.

Includes:

  • Clean and refit air filters

  • Wipe down indoor cover, louvers and accessible surfaces

  • Check condensate drain for flow (basic drain check)

  • Basic performance check (air-on / air-off temperature and airflow check)

  • Outdoor unit quick inspection (clear obvious debris, visual condition check)

Deep Clean Split System Service

(approx. 1.5 hrs) — $250

Recommended for odours, mouldy smell, poor airflow or systems that haven’t been serviced in a while.

Includes:

  • Everything in the Express Service, plus:

  • Deeper clean of indoor coil area and fan barrel (where accessible)

  • Antibacterial treatment / chemicals included

  • More thorough internal wipe-down and detail clean

  • Drain tray and drain line flush/clean (as access allows)

Additional Split (Express – same visit) — $140

Second split system at the same property (Express level).

Additional Split (Deep Clean – same visit) — $194

Second split system at the same property (Deep Clean level).

Ducted Air Conditioning Services

(Fixed Price – Visit Included)

Ducted System Service (Standard) — $349

General service and performance check.

Includes:

  • Inspect indoor unit / ducted fan coil (as access allows)

  • Clean/replace return air filter/s (where accessible)

  • Check condensate drain for flow (basic drain check)

  • Basic performance checks (temperatures, airflow, general operation)

  • Visual inspection of outdoor unit and general condition

Ducted System Service (Advanced) — $499

For heavy build-up, additional access requirements, or larger systems needing extra time.

Includes:

  • Everything in the Standard Ducted Service, plus:

  • More detailed internal cleaning (where accessible)

  • Additional time on-site to address heavier build-up and servicing needs

Notes (small but important)

  • Servicing is fixed-price (no call-out added).

  • If a fault is found or repairs are required, we’ll explain the options and confirm pricing before proceeding.

  • Pricing assumes safe and reasonable access. If access is restricted (tight ceiling space, height hazards, blocked units), we’ll advise before continuing.

  • 7.1kW Fujitsu KMTD — from $3,390 installed (includes new dedicated circuit to switchboard — standard run)

 

Standard back-to-back install includes:

  • Standard back-to-back installation (as per image below)

  • Up to 3m pipework + interconnect cabling

  • Wall capping to conceal pipework (standard length)

  • Outdoor isolation switch

  • Wall bracket OR poly slab for the outdoor unit

  • Commissioning + Certificate of Compliance

 

Non-standard installs:
Pricing may vary where extra pipe run, difficult access, multi-storey, long cable runs, or upgrade works are required. We’ll quote upfront once we have photos.
